Justin brings decades of practical experience in regulatory compliance, environmental, health and safety management, regulatory auditing, permitting, risk assessments, training, emergency response, and hazardous materials and waste management. He founded Contractor Approval Network in 2001 and has worked across aerospace, plastics, semiconductor manufacturing, government, contract manufacturing, and heavy transportation.

At CARA, Justin contributes regulatory knowledge and industry experience to help connect complex requirements with the practical questions organizations face in managing compliance.

Marcel van der Stroom

Chief Technology Officer, CARA Software LLC

Marcel brings experience in financial management, risk management, enterprise business architecture, and software development, including work in Fortune 500 environments and at ASML. At ASML, he held several positions, notably Controller and Business Architect, developing a strong understanding of financial performance, enterprise systems, business processes, and technology solutions for complex organizations.

He holds a Master’s degree in Digital Audience Strategy from Arizona State University. This perspective complements his business and technology background with an understanding of digital communication and how to make complex information clearer and more useful.

As CARA’s Chief Technology Officer, Marcel guides the technology vision and development of software that helps organizations access and work with regulatory intelligence.
